Fashion?

I saw an article on the Online Telegraph today, summarising the Milan Fashion week. Call me out of date if you want, but I’ve just decided that I quite like being out of date, if this is what being ‘in date’ means:

I thought we left those glasses, shirts, ties and hair styles behind in the 70s. It would appear that there is nothing new under the sun (that comes from the Bible, by the way).

But… perhaps there is something new (different) under the sun this year. Check this out:

I’d dress up in 70s gear for a laugh, but I would not dress like those guys above, certainly not the first two anyway. They’ve all got handbags (man bags?), the first guy forgot to take his PJ bottoms off before going out and the middle bloke could be mistaken for a lady with those boots.

So, the message I’m getting from the Milan Men’s ‘Fashion’ week, is that the man of tomorrow will be either dressed like my mum’s current generation or my dad’s pals from his teenage years. The Bible also says that it somewhat unnatural for a man to look like a woman. That’s not being pious, just exercising common sense. Or perhaps it’s not so common anymore?!
